Demo not working: “Fatal error: Allowed memory size…”

When I visit the demo site at https://sandbox.smartypantsplugins.com/ and log in as “demo”, I get the error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /home/smarty/public_html/sandbox/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2223.
