Delivery option show total as additional and without tax

  • On the checkout page the delivery options are shown (I have now off because of the issue described in this ticket).

    The amounts are shown without tax (my sending costs are subject to tax and are tax deductable so all delivery costs are supplied in the backend without local tax). On checkout they should be shown including tax as all my products and other shipping costs are shown.

    Second issue is that amounts are displayed as being additional costs (because of the ‘+’ sign while the total costs are shown (for the radio buttons, not for the check boxes).

    Kind of solved it by changing css.

    Previous version of this plugin used the ‘post-pickup-price’ element. I used this element in CSS to hide the fields mentioned above.

    Apparently, the elements have been renamed. Now it uses ‘myparcel-delivery-options__float–right’. Used this element in CSS to hide the fields and that works.

    But I must say. Please developers be careful with what you change. From what I can tell there was no technical reason to change the element name. And thus no reason for me to get in to this pickle.

    @rruyter Glad to hear you were able to find a workable solution for this issue. Adding taxes to the shipping costs is something we are working on, but will take some more time. We will update this thread once this becomes available.

    Regarding the way amounts are displayed. This has been a deliberate choice. The feedback about this has been limited so as of now we have no inclination to change this. But of course we are open to feedback so if more customers start reporting the same we will look into it.
