Delivering non-image content via Optimole’s CDN?

    Hi, I’m currently using Kinsta’s CDN, and I’m considering Optimole instead. Since running two CDNs at the same time isn’t recommended, would it be possible to host non image content like JS, CSS files etc on the Optimole CDN instead?

    Thank you for your interest in Optimole.

    Well, a short answer would be no because if you disable image optimization all the other features of the plugin become inactive, however, you could leave it active and then add exclusion to exclude all the images by their type (PNG, JPG, SVG) and this way none of the images will be served by Optimole but CSS/JS files should still be served by CDN.

    However, this is more like a workaround while I recommend trying Optimole with all its features and compare with what you currently have – maybe it will give you better results than expected ??

    Thanks for the reply! What I meant was if Optimole could deliver non-image content in addition to the images. Images would of course be the primary reason why I’d use Optimole in the first place ?? So is non-image content also possible with Optimole? Just so I understand correctly.

    Oh, thanks for the clarification and apologies for the confusion.

    Yes, with Optimole you can also serve CSS and JS files from the CDN. We don’t minify or optimize those files (at least yet) but they can be served from the CDN if you enable this option:
