Delicate Theme – Slideshow issue

  • I have the delicate theme activated and am trying to simply add photos to the slideshow. I found a tutorial on how to do so but it explains that I have to create pages for it since it is a page based slideshow, but when I create these pages the tutorial mentions to insert the preview image. I can’t find this anywhere.

    Any ideas? Seems basic enough but there must be something I’m overlooking since I’m quite new to the WordPress framework.

  • Hi Daily-design,
    When you say you want to add “Photos to the slideshow”, what do you mean exactly:
    1. You want to add custom images to the Home page slideshow?
    2. You want to create your own separate slideshow in a page?
    If you mean the second option, on the right side of the page editing window, you will see a Featured Image section. That is where the tutorial is pointing you to.

    I am trying to just add custom images to the slideshow. It’s there on my pages but there’s just no photos.

    Did you try to set the option to Random image and upload your photos into the /wp-content/delicate/images/header folder?
    That should display your custom photos.
