deletion of replies when comment is deleted

    if a user deletes a comment will the replies (nested comments) also deleted in wpdiscuz?

    if yes, it makes sense.

    If no, please help with any code snippet to achieve the same.

    Also, please help with the notifications to be sent to the author of the REPLIES informing since the PARENT comment is deleted, their REPLIES are also deleted.

    Hi @thesmahesh,

    wpDiscuz uses native (core) WordPress functions in this case, and as far as WordPress doesn’t delete the replies once the comment is deleted, wpDiscuz changes nothing. You should use the core WordPress functions to delete the replies if the parent comment is deleted.
