Deleting user generates User Not Approved email – possible to disable feature?

    We have a single site where this p/i is installed and it generates a User Not Approved email when we delete a user.

    In an effort to keep our user db current, we are deleting outdated users, who previously had valid user accounts.

    Is there a way to disable that feature so these deleted users don’t receive an email leading them to think that someone recently applied for a user account with their email?

    I would think that a user being deleted is different than a user not being approved. Users who were valid users for long periods of time are alarmed when they receive an Unapprove email, since they didn’t recently request to become a user.
