    Hello,

    Posting this here as the plugin was uploaded by me, thus cannot find a support thread for it.

    I’ve uploaded a new plugin (as zip) to activate my facebook pixel – the pixel and instructions were taken from Facebook’s official business manager for my page, so it shouldn’t have been problematic. When trying to activate it, I got a fatal error:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘FacebookPixelPlugin\Core\FacebookWordpressOptions’ not found in /home2/eatandte/public_html/wp-content/plugins/official-facebook-pixel/FacebookForWordpress.php:30 Stack trace: #0 /home2/eatandte/public_html/wp-content/plugins/official-facebook-pixel/FacebookForWordpress.php(61): FacebookPixelPlugin\FacebookForWordpress->__construct() #1 /home2/eatandte/public_html/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(1897): include(‘/home2/eatandte…’) #2 /home2/eatandte/public_html/wp-admin/plugins.php(178): plugin_sandbox_scrape(‘official-facebo…’) #3 {main} thrown in /home2/eatandte/public_html/wp-content/plugins/official-facebook-pixel/FacebookForWordpress.php on line 30

    This doesn’t matter anymore as I solved it with another plugin, Pixel Caffeine.

    However, I would like to remove the Facebook Pixel plugin altogether since I can’t activate it – however, i get this if I try to delete it: Deletion failed: Internal Server Error.

    Any idea on how to get rid of this?

    Thanks,
    Andra

    Moved to Fixing WordPress, this is not an Everything else WordPress topic.

    Where did you get that plugin? It’s not one from this site.

    If you can delete that /official-facebook-pixel/ directory using your host’s file management then you may get past that error, but again: where did you get that plugin?

    Facebook Business Manager: https://business.facebook.com/

    They provide a pixel that can be implemented by uploading a zip file as a plugin.

    This worked.

    Thanks!

    I got the same message today. Deletion failed: Internal service error. How do I go to the hosts file management to get past this error? Sorry…I am a newbie.
