Deleting this plugin breaks my site

After deactivating this plugin some time ago, today I decided to delete it and discovered I cannot do that without ending up stuck at a frozen white screen. In whatever way, this plugin is still at least partially active and dependent upon being present in the Plugins folder even after it has been deactivated.
Any help from anyone here would be greatly appreciated!
