Thanks Joel.
I was getting frustrated because I had deleted the log after making perhaps 30 or mere redirects and then having to enter them again.
It would be really great to actually allow the user to enter a redirect before the first 404 error. I am replacing an older HTML site with perhaps 50 pages and I would like to be able to create a redirect for many of the old site’s pages before the the bots and visitors find a problem.
As I said. Your work here is fantastic. I am sure I’m not the only person to want to replace an HTML site with a WP site. I have a few more to do for our mom and pop business.
Next I need to replace https://www.sadlight.com, https://www.homephototherapy.com and https://www.catchasmoker.com which are older style sites that need to be replaced.
I am not a programmer but just an old fart (nearly 70) that’s been a computer hobbyist since 1977 when I bought my first PC. Created my first website in 1997 and my wife and I started our micro business in 1998 (www.amjo.net) and it’s great to be able to keep it going to keep my mind sharp.
I ramble sometimes. In this case I have rambled so that you know how important the work that huys like you do to help us old farts!
