Deleting tags/list to delete all contacts

    Hello,

    I’m trying to delete all the contacts on a particular list. Its much to delete one after the other. Can I delete all the contacts by just deleting the associating list and tags?

    There is no button to delete all contacts showing on the filtered window.

    I understand you’re facing difficulty in deleting multiple contacts associated with a particular list or tags. While FluentCRM doesn’t offer a built-in option for mass deletion by Tag or List just by deleting the Tag or List itself, there’s an efficient workaround you can follow:

    1. Filter Contacts:?Apply the appropriate tags to isolate the contacts you wish to remove.
    2. Increase Pagination:?Adjust the settings to display a larger number of contacts per page (up to 600).
    3. Select All:?Check the box to select all the contacts on the current page.
    4. Delete Selected:?Use the “Actions” dropdown to choose “Delete” and confirm your choice.

    This process allows you to delete up to 600 contacts at once. If you have a larger number of contacts to remove, simply repeat the steps for subsequent pages.

    Hi, I have over 500,000 contacts that need to be deleted. Any other way to do this without having to delete entire plugin data as doing it in batches of 600 will be excessively time consuming?

    I understand that you have a large number of contacts in a specific list and you’re looking for a way to delete them all efficiently.

    I’m happy to inform you that we recently released an update that removes the limitation of deleting only 600 contacts at a time when using filters. This means that you can now delete all the contacts in your filtered list in one go.

    To do this, simply follow these steps:

    1. In the FluentCRM dashboard, go to “Contacts” and select the list containing the contacts you want to delete.
    2. Use the filters to narrow down the list of contacts, if necessary.
    3. Select all the contacts in the filtered list by clicking the checkbox at the top.
    4. Click on the “Delete” from the Actions dropdown.
    5. Confirm the deletion by proceeding.

    Your contacts will be deleted permanently and you will be able to see the updated count in the “Contacts” section.
