Deleting Site Contacts

    Hi, upon release you said you were working on a way for us to delete or block site contacts so that they don’t keep showing up all the time. For me that’s youtube, apple and my own site links.

    But they still show up. When you go to delete them, they delete. But as soon as you create a post with those types of links again, there they are again, repopulated.

    Deleting is useless.

    Are you still working on this? Really like the plugin. Would love if this issue was resolved. With my last post the links I didn’t want to show up, did and the links that should have shown up, didn’t.

    Hi @hollywoodonlocation!
    Are you on the most recent version of Linkbuildr?
    In the most recent update I added a block list of sites that would not cause notification, which by default includes your site, and a lot of major sites including youtube and apple.

    It also adds the option to turn on/off the notification completely and a bulk importer for site contacts from CSV file.

    If you have the most recent version and are still experiencing these issues, please let me know and I will help troubleshoot/resolve that.

    I’m using version 1.1. There are no updates pending.

    I don’t know why it’s not showing that there is an update, but version 1.3 is the current version. I will go over the repo and try to see why you aren’t being prompted for an update, but you should be able to manually update to the most recent version and get all the features I referred to.

    If you have any issues with that let me know, and I’ll see what I can do. If I find anything that could cause you not to be prompted to upgrade, I’ll resolve it and also post that here, then you should be able to upgrade as you normally would through the WP Admin.

    Hi @hollywoodonlocation!
    I just ran through and tested upgrading from v1.1 to v1.3 and I got the update notification and updated through the admin without any issue.

    I’m not sure if you have anything specific in your setup that would cause this to be handled differently. The features you asked about are in the newer version (v1.3) if you have any issues with manually upgrading let me know. I’ve run through the manual upgrade myself more times than the auto upgrade, and I know it will work fine from the Linkbuildr side.
