deleting posts while still archiving them

    A simple question I can’t find the answer for.

    I would like to remove old posts from the blog’s homepage without deleting them from the monthly archives. This must be easy, but how? When I actually delete the post in the Manage section, they disappear from the monthly archive.

  • As you noticed, delete means… delete.

    If you just want to get them off the home page, how about going to Options -> Reading and adjusting the value of “Show at most:” instead?
