Deleting percentage widget from About section

Hi, I don’t want the widgets to appear in my About section of my website (using static front page layout option). But I am unable to delete them all without the default options appearing. To ensure none of the default options appear, I seem to have to add one widget, colour the text white (to blend in with the background) and only have the remaining grey line BUT this is aligned to the left since it is only one widget. Can you please tell me how to delete all widgets and not replace them with anything else?
