Deleting Old Themes

    Once I’m fully committed to a theme and have a site completely built, its it ok if i delete the Classic and Default themes from my wp-content remote folder? I’m trying to reduce teh amount of time that it takes to backup my site and I feel like this would help the cause.

    please advise. thanks.

    I would suggest that you keep the WP Default theme at the very least.

    You can delete them, but just FYI, every time you upgrade, they come back.

    On the other hand, they’re pretty small so they shouldn’t affect a backup much (and if they do, you may be running a server setup too small for your site).
