Deleting note gives extra wrong message

Hi… love the plugin, however if I delete a note, I get a warning dialog box “Are you sure you want to delete this note?”. Fair enough.
But if I click OK I then get a second warning “Are you sure you want to delete <plugin name> and its data?” This seems spurious and choosing yes does not delete the plugin or its data.

Also, I am left with an open note edit window with a perpetually spinning doughnut.
