Hi. When you delete a field group, is the data on the group supposed to go away? Right now the only way I can remove created fields is by uninstalling the plugin and asking it to remove all the data. Is this how it normally works or is there a conflict of some kind on my site? If the only way to remove fields is by uninstalling the plugin, are there any plans to change that?

Are you talking about Sets of fields (that you create in admin area) or individual fields of groups in group admin area?

Either one really. I can’t get the field to delete from a set. When I delete the set, it still shows on all of the Groups. I took care of it with a SQL update but just curious if that’s a bug or if it’s not actually possible to delete a field (or a field group, either is fine)

The only purpose of sets – to massively create some lists of fields in all groups. They are not tightened to each other. So deleting set is just like deleting template – won’t affect items created from it as they are not using that template in any way.
To sum up – this was done on purpose.

    Understood. Thanks.

But I might add it as a new feature.

If you decide to do that, please let me know. I am slammed for the next two or three weeks but I’d be happy to help add that if you decide to do that. I’m decent with PHP (a few years here and there()and expert with SQL (10+ years experience). Not sure if you’d need or want help… but I am happy to help if I can

I am always happy in any help while working with my free plugins, so you can fork the plugin on github, modify and make pull requests.
    I would really appreciate this.

Sure thing. It’ll be a few weeks but I’ll clone it later today so I don’t forget
