• Hello,
I deleted the Mailchimp for Woocommerce some months ago, but looking at the list of tables in phpMyAdmin, I see the following:

    staging_xCJ_mailchimp_carts
    staging_xCJ_mailchimp_jobs

Is it safe for me to delete these tables? Or must they remain?

    Thank you
    Warm regards,
    Raffaella

Hi @thewebmonk We hate to see you go! Is there anything we can do to that would convince you to give another try?

    RE your question:

Yes, it is generally safe to delete those tables if you have already removed the Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin and no longer plan to use it. The tables staging_xCJ_mailchimp_carts and staging_xCJ_mailchimp_jobs were created by the plugin to store abandoned cart data and background job information.

    Precautions Before Deleting:

    1. Backup Your Database – Always make a full backup of your database before making any deletions. This allows you to restore it in case something goes wrong.
    2. Verify Table Contents – You can check the contents of these tables in phpMyAdmin to confirm they contain Mailchimp-related data.

After deletion, your WordPress site should continue functioning normally. If you encounter any issues, you can restore the backup. And we are here if you ever decide to give us another chance.
