I’m wanting to delete my cache. I created a staging site and when I delete the cache it breaks my staging site. How do I do this without breaking my site? I’m using CloudFlare, which I’ve heard can cause issues but how exactly do I turn it off or what exactly do I need to do so that I don’t break my site? Thanks!

if your site breaks when deleting cache, then you 99,99% sure have a page cache referring to old Autoptimized files. Clear that page cache and you should be good to go ??

With fear of asking a stupid question. Just how do I clear a specific page’s cache – and how do I see which one it is? (also having the same problem as above)

Autoptimize does not have a page cache and the cached CSS/ JS is not linked to a specific page (it is used on several pages), so if you need the AO cache cleared you’ll have to clear it entirely Jacksg.

Thanks for the reply, however it makes little/no sense to me.

I used the “save changes and empty cache” option and then the styling of the website and all the content appeared broken.

We are working to restore a backup, but looking at other posts this may not fix the issue.

Are there any detailed steps you can provide or point me to, now that I have emptied the cache and looking at a broken site?

ah, simple: just clear any page cache you (or your hoster) might have (which has pages in cache that still point to deleted AO’ed files).
