• I am desperately trying to do what should be a simple thing: create a slider (using a popular plugin) of small images, but something is complicating the process.

After uploading the original images, I discovered I needed to make some slight changes to them. So, using the media library page, I chose to DELETE PERMANENTLY every one of those images.

I then logged out of my WordPress dashboard to make the changes.

After making those changes using a graphics application (outside of WordPress), I logged back in and used the media library page to upload them again.

But the preview icons and the dimensions shown were NOT of the files I had just uploaded; they were from the original images I’d allegedly DELETED PERMANENTLY.

Why is this happening and how can I stop it from happening? It is extremely frustrating and time-consuming.

Additionally, some image files appear in the media library with “Print” as the filename. Where is THAT coming from?
