I’m trying to set up a store for a single product (we are a fire department and do this about once per year). I deleted all the sample products that came with the plugin. Then added one product. The storefront only shows the deleted sample products.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello!
This is Karina from Ecwid by Lightspeed.
Do you use any cache/loading speed optimization plugins on your website? Some plugins might interfere with the Ecwid store. Please let me know the names of them (if you use any), so that our team can investigate.

In the meantime, please try to turn off the static home page setting in the hidden settings of the Ecwid plugin and clear the Ecwid plugin cache. This should help your products to appear on the site correctly.

    Here’s how to do that:

    1. Go to?https://svfd.ca/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ec-params?in your WordPress account (just click this link and it should lead you to the hidden Ecwid settings page).
    2. Switch the ‘ecwid_static_home_page_enabled‘ parameter to?N.
    3. Save changes.
    4. Scroll down the page and click ‘Clear all caches’.

    Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks you for your quick reply. I have followed your instructions. The sample products are no longer in the storefront. However I get the following error when viewing the store. “Sorry, the requested product is not available”. Note that I had previously deleted a product. The new product is set to available and in-stock.

    Hello @andrewentee!

Were you able to check if you’re using any cache/loading speed optimization plugins on your site? Just in case they’re conflicting with Ecwid for some reason.

Please email us at [email protected], so that we can investigate this further.

Hi Katrina. I replied to the email you provided a few days ago (because I could attach screen shots). But I’ve not heard back. Let me know if I should continue to reply using this thread. I do not use any cache accelerators on this site. I sent you a list of plugins on my email.

    Regards and thanks, Nigel

    Hi Nigel @andrewentee!

I sent you an email about this issue today, please check your inbox.

I looked into your website’s source code and found that the product on the page is added via a code. And the code includes a product ID 492546617. However, there’s no product with ID 492546617 in your store at the moment. Which is why you see the “Sorry, the requested product is not available” error.

In this case I recommend to re-add the store via a different shortcode or using Elementor page builder Ecwid widget. I sent full instructions over email.

Please let me know how it goes in the response to my email.
