Deleted posts duplicated endlessley

    Hello,
    Great plugin. I’ve been using for three months now and I’m very impressed with it. I do have one issue, however. All of my feeds are set to check for duplicate posts, but every time the cron job runs, older posts that I’ve deleted are re-added to my drafts. This morning alone I’ve deleted >120 duplicate posts. I’ve raised a ticket with the theme developer (OceanWP) and they’ve asked me to change themes to see if the issue persists, which I haven’t done yet as I need to set up a staging site so I don’t break my site. Some of the duplicate posts date back to February, but this only seems to occur with posts that I’ve deleted. Do you have any idea what could be causing this? It happens on all of my rss feeds, not one in particular. The only common feature I can see is that it occurs on deleted posts. Thanks in advance

    You should use the server cron to avoid this problem.

    Sorry, I should have made that clearer. I have a server cron job running every two hours. I checked the forum when I first got the problem and set up a server cron job as per your advice to someone else, but it hasn’t resolved the issue.

    My 2pm job just ran and pulled 36 posts, 32 are duplicates of posts that I deleted this morning.

    This should not happen if your feed doesn’t change the GUIDs and the news titles.

    I know! Titles and GUID’s remain untouched, no spinner software installed, server cron job running, everything set the way it should be. Any ideas what’s causing it? Any known conflicts with plugins or themes? Every duplicate has the base date too, so that isn’t being changed. I’ve tried turning “extract full article” off in case that script was causing the problem, but it didn’t make any difference.

    I can’s say why it happening without looking at your feed settings.

    Here in Russia we call it a spherical horse in vacuum. Something happens but you have only theoretical knowledge about it, so you can’s say why and when exactly it happens ??
