• Hi….I accidentily deleted a post connected to a link in my newsletter that I just sent out. I rewrote the post but now the url has a different page number (of course!)……is there a way to set the url page number manually back to the previous number? When you hit the link it now says “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.” Thanks.

  • It depends on how you have your URLs setup. Do you have pretty permalinks enabled, or the default?

    Because the default would use the unique ID in the URL of each post. That would make it tough to change the URL, you’d have to do it in the database. If you have pretty permalinks on and the date in the URL, then that could be why they are different, you might be able to fix it by changing the date of the post.

    Another option is to 301 redirect the old post URL to the new one, so that if anyone visits the old page, they are automatically redirected.
