Deleted plugin's

  • Hii guys,

    After i’ve runned an update on wordpress it wasn’t possible to enter my page or admin because there was an plugin error.

    I logged in on Filezilla, and deleted the plug they said. I hoped everything was fine by then but then i got an other plugin error, i deleted this one also. And then another one. So i deleted 3 plugin’s.

    I don’t now the names of the plugin’s. And still my page and admin aren’t workin. What can i do???

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

    I’ve tried 1, 2 & 4. doesn’t do anything. Should ik rename then back to the original?

    I’m stuck at point 3, how can i re-upload them? Is there a video available where they show it?

    You will need to use FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    thats obvious. But how? I really don’t know how to do that. I installed everything in wordpress self. This is the first time i work with filezilla?

    Do you have some step-by-step guide?
