• I was trying out different image rotation plug-ins. I tried “soliloquy” but it didn’t work. I installed NextGEN and it started to work, but only showed 4 images – the images I had uploaded when trying the “Soliloquy” plug-in. Anyway, I use the Yoko Theme which has two sidebars. I deleted “Soliloquy” but now, at the top of my second sidebar, it says[soliloquy id=”1449″] and I have no idea of how to get it off. On my widget screen (where I can manage my widgets) the words don’t even appear. But they are there when I visit my site. (www.pitcherandplate.com) How in the world can I get rid of this?

  • Hi, there.
You seem to have figured out your problem since I can’t find any instances of [soliloquy id="1449"] on your site.
Whenever you have a problem like that, always make sure the plugin folder is completely gone from your wp-content/plugins directory in your server.
Also, it seems like in your particular case, you were using the plugin’s widget or calling it via shortcode inside a text widget, so when you deleted the plugin, the shortcode could not be “handled” anymore and displayed the message you were seeing.
LMK if you need any more help.
    Cheers!
