Using WPv2.0.1, I created this page (which was in a different form at the time but exists as so now):

    https://www.wecanrebuildher.net/news/about/

I deleted this page from Manage > Pages and it no longer exists in the list there, but is still accessible via the page slug.

I created the correct page which was given the automatic slug as here:

    https://www.wecanrebuildher.net/news/about-2/

and after trying to edit the page slug to the first one above it keeps reverting to about-2/ whenever I hit save.

I have tried clearing wp-content/cache to no avail. I want the correct page to appear at

    https://www.wecanrebuildher.net/news/about

and for the other one to not be online at all.

Is there a way to do this please?

Many thanks in advance for any sage advice…

Anybody at all? No ideas? I couldn’t see anything in previous posts that answered this…

Just in case anyone else has this problem I figured it out – I logged into MySQL on my host and browsed to and deleted the post called ‘about’ and renamed the ‘about-2’ post to ‘about’.
