Deleted organizers in Block Editor still pulled by tribe_get_organizers function

    Hello,

    I am using the function tribe_get_organizers for a custom output. We just came across the issue that organizers of duplicated events are still being pulled by this function even if the organizer is deleted.

    For explanation, we duplicate an event, delete the organizer in the block editor, add new and publish the event. The function tribe_get_organizers still outputs the deleted organizer however the deleted organizer is not visible on the detail page of this event.

    When I disable the Block Editor for events I can still see this organizer in the Organizers section of classic view I “deleted” in the Block Editor view.

    Thanks for reaching out and bringing this to our notice.

    We typically advise against duplicating events or tickets because of how unpredictable the results can be, depending on the use case.

    Since this isn’t a feature of our plugin, I’m not sure how I can help. I will reach out to our development team to let them know about this behaviour and see what they have to say.

    Thanks for your patience on this issue @georgdem

    I heard back from the developer team on this, and from their explanation of the issue, deleting the block doesn’t mean deleting the organizer. We will work to implement this in the future, but for now the best way to completely remove an organizer from an event while using the block editor is to click on the “x” (close) button at the top right of the organizer block.

    Can you try that and let me know if it works for you.
