• Hi!

Like the title says, I deleted the code from font-awesome.min.css and font-awesome.css in my ‘flash’ theme on my website roxyshomeservices.ca to try to solve a problem, thinking I had a backup of my website saved, which it turns out I didn’t. Is there a way to add the base code for font-awesome back into those two css theme files without completely loading the theme again. I didn’t have any modifications to those files, I would just like to use font-awesome in the future. Even when I download the font-awesome plugin, those two theme css files remain empty.

I guess my last question is, if I use the font-awesome plugin, will having the font-awesome.min.css and font-awesome.css folders empty affect anything?

    Thanks

  • You can restore the whole theme as new via WP admin. Firstly, it should go without saying that if you have any modifications done directly to the theme currently in used, you need to do a backup first. Just temporarily change them, switch to any theme preferably any of WP default ones, then delete Flash theme from your WP system, then re-add Flash theme and then switch back to using this theme.

Another way is to log-in to your server via FTP (or File explorer of your hosting’s cPanel), then just upload a fresh copy of that file to where it belongs.

    Hey @marligirl ,

One way you can do is deactivate the flash theme and activate another WP theme, and delete that installed flash theme. Then again install new flash theme and activate it. This should work fine.

    Good Day,
    Best Regards.
