Deleted events still showing

Been working for several days on the layout for this page. Have it fairly close to what I want to do with it, but suddenly I’m seeing a lot of ‘test events’ that have been deleted already.
If you look at the page, the only active events should be the recurring ones that actually show a ship name on the left side.
The others were deleted at some point. They are NOT showing up in the trash. I searched the database here, and found where a few others have had a similar problem. I cleaned the cache at the site and browser, tried alternative browsers and still no luck.
I’m early enough in this that I don’t mind uninstalling, deleting the directory and re-installing Events Manager, but wondered the following:
If I do, what steps do I need to take to guarantee I’m starting from scratch? I would assume to delete the plug in directory, but will I need to make SQL adjustments?
