Deleted and replaced form field not shown in profile

I accidentally deleted a form field in a user profile form. I replaced it but the form now doesn’t show on the user profile. It is in the edit profile section and can have text added to it in the edit profile area. It just doesn’t show up when viewing any user’s profiles. What can I do to get this resolved?
