I’ve tested and deleted the plugin, but now I’m getting a huge slowdown on my site, and “site health” is showing the text below. I suspect this is causing the problem. Did the plugin create this event, and how can I eliminate it as a source of the problem? I can’t find it in the wordpress events list.

    A scheduled event has failed
    Performance
The scheduled event, update_bookshelf, failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.

I’d suggest installing the WP Crontrol plugin. That will allow you to remove the leftover event.

If the event was created with a very short interval between runs it could be the cause of your issue.

Bookshelf update events are supposed to be removed when the plugin is deleted, but clearly something went wrong in your case. Thanks for letting me know.
