Hi, currently the plugin does not have the option to automatic delete of users. I will keep you posted if we add this option in the future.

This would be a great feature to add, either manually delete all unverified users, or set an automatic time based deletion schedule.

    +1 from me ??

    I would second this.

In my humble opinion, the whole logic of how it works is incorrect. Why would we create an unverified user in the DB in the first place? It makes much more sense to send a verification email to the supplied email address first and then, only when it’s been verified, create a permanent user. This will eliminate the need to code the clean up logic requested here in the first place.

Why create garbage and then deal with the pain of needing to remove it when we have a luxury of not creating it in the first place?

    Just a thought.

    Hi @excelsiormerchant
Ok, so where should we create a temporary user?
We need to keep the data somewhere so it makes no sense to create duplicate user registration tables? what will happen if you add additional custom fields to the registration, should we store them as well, how can we do that?
any other solution will require creating a duplicate of the WC registration so we focus on adding an email verification layer to the WC registration.

The pro version will allow more management and validation mode, you will be able to bulk and automatic delete unverified customer, you can require email verification before checkout (also for guests), and admin approval mode which blocks your site to selective customers only… The Pro version will be available for Beta next week and you can contact us from the support chat on zorem.com if you want to participate in the Beta.
