Delete two of the Default themes?

if you have a theme installed on your wordpress you can delete All other theme ,but sometimes your theme has a bug or can not be display ,in this case you can debug your site by activate one of default theme in wordpress.
each year comes a new theme

Thanks, yes I understood I should keep one, I just wasnt sure which one as there are three default themes in my files.

It doesn’t really matter which one. I always keep one default theme (2015) as a backup solution. The other ones are easily deleted. I delete the others because of three reasons:

1. Tidyness
It’s cleaner to not have a huge inventory of themes.

2. Security
Not all themes are that secure. If you don’t need them, remove them.

3. Hosting
There’s no need to have more than two themes, so that’s a few megabytes saved. ??

I am here to tell somthing important
you’d better to remove all, If sometimes the site doesn’t load,you can upload one temeplate by ftp and debug the site
due to security issues we shouldn’t keep extra file (such as theme and zip file or other) in our website

That’s why I pick a standard theme as a second theme that comes with regular updates. No real security issues there.

Hi siteoptimo thanks so the best theme for keeping in the theme folder as a second theme is the last ie 2016 due to regualr update

OK chaps, appreciate the replies. It sounds like if I keep just one of the defaults i.e. the latest and keep it up to date, I should have a good fall back that is also secure.
