    I have two questions.

    1) I created a few test orders to make sure everything was working correctly. I have deleted those orders, but I can’t seem to delete the generated gift card codes/balances. They still show up in my admin balances screen. Do I have to delete them from the database directly?

    2) Is there a way to assign a SKU to the gift card? I can do it in the ‘Quick Edit” on the product list page, but if I edit the gift card product, it deletes the sku. I have a report I run that I dump the order data into – one of the things it analyzes is order data by sku, so this would be very very helpful.

    Thank you!

    1) Restore the Orders that were deleted and mark them as Cancelled first. This will automatically deactivate the associated gift cards. If you can’t restore the gift cards, there is a Delete button in the Gift Cards Pro plugin that you can use to delete existing gift cards. As a last resort, I can send you a MySQL script that you can run to delete all gift cards from the database. Let me know if you need that.

    2) You can set the SKU on the gift card amounts by taking the following steps:

    1. Edit the gift card product in the WordPress admin area.
    2. Change the product type from “PW Gift Card” to “Variable product”
    3. Click on the Variations tab in the left and then set the SKU for the amounts
    4. Click on the “Save changes” button at the bottom of the Variations tab
    5. Change the product type back to “PW Gift Card”
    6. vClick on the “Update” button at the top right to finalize changes.

Let me know if you have any questions!

We sent out an update which will show the Inventory and Variations tabs on the Gift Card product. That way you can set the SKU now without having to switch the Product Type.
