Delete spam users

  • Where can I see a list of users? I found it once, but I don’t remember where. I recall having thousands of spam accounts and I want to delete them. (I have now unchecked the “anyone can register” so this doesn’t keep happening.)

    The only thing I can find online is to go into screen options on the dashboard and set it to show users, but my screen options don’t give me that option.

    As long as they are all subscribers, do I really have to worry about it?

    dashboard >> Users

    In your WordPress dashboard, you should find the “Users” tab between “Plugins” and “Tools”. Go to “All Users” and then “Select” – “Bulk delete” those accounts you wish to remove.

    How do I get it to display more than 20 names at a time? I’m not seeing an option for how many names to show.

    Also, will these deletions impact any legit readers? Will they lose a feed somewhere, for example?

    – While in the Dashboard, go to Screen Options in Comments and select a few hundred

    I can’t tell. that you need to find out which is spam and which is legit.

    No real way of knowing. In that case, is it better just to let these spam registrations continue to exist?

    The best is to get rid of these spam registrations.
    May be soeone who knows how to separate spam registrations from the legit ones chimein.
