Delete product variation without deleting SKU?

    Hello,

    We regularly need to update two variations on a product, the process implies deleting old variations and replacing them with new ones (SKU numbers change for each one)

    The issue: while the product’s and product variation’s names (at the time of purchase) purchased by the customers remains and still appears in past orders, after product variation deletion, the SKU number is erased for ALL past purchases, which is a big problem.

    How can we delete a product variation while keeping their respective SKU numbers untouched in past orders?

    after product variation deletion, the SKU number is erased for ALL past purchases, which is a big problem.

    Well, that’s expected. Whenever you delete a product or a variation, it will delete all the data regarding that product (SKU, images, etc.).
