Delete Product Category

    I am trying to assign and delete product categories.

    1.I am unable to delete product categories – even though they are not assigned as a default category

    2. When I assign the products to a category, woocommerce is not registering the change.

    The products have bee imported to by the Datafeedr plugin, I am not sure whether this has anything to do with my issue.

    If anyone has any ideas on where I am going wrong, that would be great.

  • @myshoeandbag I don’t think it’s related to the products being imported by Datafeedr. It sounds like you might have some aggressive caching going on. I would try the following:

    – Deactivate all of your caching plugins

    – Ask your web host to disable Redis and/or Memcached (if they are using them on your site).

    – Make sure you have disabled any Object Caching you might have in place.

    After doing those things, hopefully you’ll have more luck managing your site.

    Were you able to get this working after disabling caching as suggested by datafeedr?

    If that didn’t get this working for you, I would suggest running a conflict test. This guide can walk you through doing that.
