How does the option work: Delete posts that are no longer present in your file

I have a csv file for theses, which has a lot of products. Then edit it and set it so that the file has only 10 products.

Nothing happens. Does not delete non-existing posts (products)

    Hi @hachi89

    This is how it works:

    1. Imported/create all of your products using a “New Items” import.
    2. Edit your file by adding/removing/updating the records.
    3. Update your import with the new file and re-run it to remove the records that you removed from the file: https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/recurring/update-import

Keep in mind that an import can only delete products that it previously created – it cannot delete products that were created manually or by other imports.

If these steps fail, please replicate the issue at https://www.wpallimport.com/debug/ and open a ticket at https://www.wpallimport.com/support/ with the details.

Is this option available for scheduling of the import as well? Or is it only limited to re-running the import manually with a different file?

The reason I ask is because my products are on a XML URL source which runs on a scheduled import every night. This source XML URL changes from time to time. If a product is removed from the XML Source then I need it to remove that product from my site as well.
