This plugin shows me post types that are left behind by plugins that I’ve deleted. How can these old post types be removed? I don’t see a way to do this in Database Cleaner.

    Hi @piranhapete3,

By default, most Post Types are set to “Never” (in the column “Mode”). That’s to avoid issues.

You can select “Manual” for each post type you don’t need anymore. Then, you will be able to refresh the number of posts per post type, delete them, etc.

If those Post Types are re-created regularly, you can set to “Auto”. And then, the “Auto Clean” button will also take care of those automatically (which can be convenient when those Post Types are used for logging).

Let me know of that helps ?? Maybe I could make this easier, indeed!

    That makes sense. Thank you!

When I deleted a post type I had to click the refresh arrow on top before it was removed. That can also be confusing. The entries were deleted directly but the post type was still visible until I clicked the update button.

    Hi @ben72,

It’s basically to give you the chance to pick “Never” in the Mode column on the right ?? When “Never” is picked, they always show up even though it’s empty, but it makes sure it stays empty (as Post Types are often re-created).
