Delete post, but still appearing on webpage – PLEASE HELP

  • Hi Guys,

    i recently set up my first Worldpress blog.

    i went into the admin area and deleted the very first blog that says, “Hello World”. After I deleted it I went to my website and hit refresh to see if it had disappeared from the homepage but it’s still there.

    I checked back in the admin area under posts to see if it was really deleted and it was. So I’m not sure why it’s still appearing on my site?

    I deleted the cache in my browser, but it’s still there on my homepage.

    This is also happening with another plugin I am using where I can amend the text that should appear on my site, and when i amend the text and then check my webpage, the previous text I had is still appearing. It’s not updating?

    Can anyone plaese enlighten me as to what is going on and how to fix the problem?

  • Probably in cache. CHeck tomorrow and see if still there.

    I’m having the same issue. I’ve cleared my cache and the post is still appearing. However, it is not in the wp_posts table.

    I really need to get this resolved!
