delete plugin

    I installed the free version of WP staging for a temporary staging site. Now to save room I want to delete the plugin but it does not deactivate and the WP STAGING Optimizer is listed as a “must use” plugin.

    I have unticked the WP STAGING Optimizer in the settings.

    Please provide instructions to deactivate and delete the plugin.

    what happens when you try to deactivate the plugin?
    You can deactivate and delete all plugins from wp-admin > plugins

    How did you try to delete the plugin?

    Nothing happened. It would not deactivate.

    I deleted the files via CPanel
