Delete Old Slugs?

    About to run this plugin, and it looks ace.

    Does it delete slugs that are no longer used. For instance I had a post that I deleted and then permanently deleted, and I want to re-use that slug. WordPress doesn’t allow me to, and puts a postname/2 at the end of it.

    Looking around people seem to have said I need to delete it from my database. Does this do that? If not- do you have any other recommendations.
