Hi, I’ve had this problem for months and I don’t know how to fix it. Old products that were deleted weeks ago from my shop still appear in my Facebook catalog. Furthermore, there are new products that are present on the Facebook catalogue, if I click on some of these new products, I am redirected to the site but to a page that does not exist. How can I solve this problem? Do I disconnect the site, delete the catalog and connect again?

  • Hey there, @alcatraz83! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

It is possible that there was a cache item or old sync information that is/was still stored. Make sure you are not running a cache plugin like WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache, and that there is not a server cache active which could be pushing out of date options.

You can also do a fresh manual sync to force it to ‘re-look/see’ items so that it can see those items have been removed.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

Hi, thanks for the quick response. There are no caching plugins on our site, even server-side caching is turned off. I had already tried other times to synchronize the products by clicking on the synchronization button, it seems to me that nothing has changed. Do you recommend disconnecting Facebook and reconnecting it?

    Hey, @alcatraz83!

Thanks for trying. It is unlikely that reconnecting would solve this issue, but you can try if you wish ??

If the manual fresh sync did not help, the next step would be to?manually delete the products from the catalog.

If recreating the catalog is an option you can remove all products from the catalog using?this code?or manually delete them. Then you can re-sync to see if something is missing.

Some users prefer not to do this and use the workaround of archiving the products. If you prefer todo this, you can check this guide.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
