Delete javascript ad on Home page

  • Hi,

    I’m posting here for the first time. Thank your all for your input regarding my issue. And sorry in advance if it looks like a newbie problem ??

    I would like to know which file to go to in wordpress in order to remove some javascript code which displays an ad on the home page of my theme. I’m currently learning how to deal with it by myself.

    The javascript code was inserted as a widget and features on the right column. Problem is, I can not edit it from the Widget management section of WordPress as it doesn’t show there.

    In which file of WordPress directory is this javascript bit of code to be found ?

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for your quick reply.

    The theme was developed by a contractor. I believe it was designed after an existing WordPress theme :

    The part which i want to remove is the Trivago ad on the bottom of the right column…
