Delete Internal Pingbacks

  • Hi,

    Is there any way to prevent my blog from sending pingbacks to itself? It seems really useless and I have to go in and delete them all the time.

  • Go into your Options page then “Discussions.”

    At the top is “Usual settings for an article” Make sure the first box is unchecked: [“Attempt to notify any Weblogs linked to from the article (slows down posting.)”]
