Delete files in hosting server

    Hi,

    I’m using last version of WP and VFB.
    I have several form in my website, and some of them has the option to attach a file that is saved automatically inside the folder …wp-content/uploads/year/month

    I thought that once I delete the entries of VFB those files will be deleted automatically of my webserver. But it doesn’t works like this, and instead all those file remains in the server after delete all the entries.

    Is there a way get this missing feature in this plugin?

  • For now they have to be manually deleted, there are some hooks that can be used with our pro version that allow for file deletion, etc. I will certainly suggest that feature for a future build, but it is unlikely such a feature would be included in our free version.

    Is there a way to stop Visual Form Builder from uploading the files to the server and only send them via email?

    You can look at our upload hooks and impliment a hook to perform an action you would like: https://classic.vfbpro.com/hooks/

    These hooks should work, we cannot advise on custom programming, but a developer should be able to help you create a hook that would delete the file after upload and only attach to the email.
