  • Hello,

Very interested in this and was just wondering what the status of this feature is?

I’d like to be able to send uploaded files on gravity forms via attachment, and have the file on web server deleted immediately after. Does this feature exist on the plugin yet, or is it still in beta and only obtainable with the function posted above?

I also feel there should be an option in the admin settings for this (if it doesn’t exist already).

Thank you for taking the time to develop this plugin! I think it’s very useful.

At the moment through the customized function. But I will look into adding this fairly soon. The resent update was adding the ability through check boxes so I will also be able to expand upon this functionality. Also seeing what graphems posted will help me in adding it to the plugin functionality. Thank you for taking the time to review the plugin and offer up functionality improvements.

Well close, I will be able to delete the files without deleting the entry in the backend.

Great, thank you for the very prompt response!

I did have one more completely unrelated question and I apologize if it’s off-topic. I have another WordPress install that’s stuck on WP version 3.8.1. I haven’t tested your plugin with it yet, but do you think there’s a possibility it would work on 3.8.1? I know on the plugin description it mentions 4.2.2 or higher is required. I realize it’s not practical for you to test prior versions of WP nor would I expect it, but was just wondering what your thoughts were. Many thanks.

It might work I am not sure. Having that big of an outdated WordPress is a big security risk. Please give version 2.1 a try for deleting files. You will now notice a checkbox in the notification area.
