Had the plugin installed on my site. Deactivated it. Deleted it.

FB Event Manager still shows pixel as active and reporting. Searched in the website by the actual Pixel ID, the word “pixel”, the expression “fbq”. Looked everywhere, cannot find it.

The thing is messing up my other reporting. How do I get rid of it completely?

Thank you so much, kind FB people, for taking the time and helping users – not ignoring them. Your support is highly appreciated.

If you have removed the plugin, it shouldn’t be firing Pixel events anymore. You can confirm by using the Facebook Pixel Helper on your website – https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/facebook-pixel-helper/.

If there are no events firing and you still see events in the Events Manager, select “View Details” on an event like Page View in the Events Manager and click the Activity Tab. You’ll be able to see the referring URL.

    Thank you.

Did that, got to the Activity Tab, and here is what it says:

    Custom Data Not Being Displayed
Your parameters and referring URL are displayed as
    _removed_

And then there is an explanation next to the referring URL:

“This is the URL of the page where this event occurred. Some of the URL may be removed if we detected that it contains sensitive data. If some of the URL can’t be displayed, it will show up as _removed_.”

So I am back to square 1. Any chance you can provide individual assistance and help me remove it? I do not want it on my site.

    Thank you so much!

Is this your website – https://sambucol.ro/ – Got this from your profile page.

It looks like you have the WooCommerce plugin installed, and that is possibly where the pixel fires are coming from. Try reconfiguring that to stop pixel fires (or change the pixel id).

I also saw that you have version 2.0.0 of this plugin active and running. Can you de-activate / delete the plugin and try again.

Install the pixel helper tool – https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-pixel/support/pixel-helper – to see when pixel events are firing.

If this is not the domain, then can you share the pixel ID or the domain from where this is firing?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, that is my website. The troublesome pixel ID is 2261296950841312.

    I deactivate/deleted/reinstalled Facebook for WooCommerce.

I deactivated/deleted/reinstalled your plugin. It links to pixel ID 144523286884255, which is the correct one.

I also have Facebook Pixel Helper installed.

Still, pixel ID 2261296950841312 shows on Facebook Manager alive and kicking.

    Looking forward to your help.

    Thank you!

There is very little activity on the pixel 2261296950841312 (around 7 events in the last week) and all of them come from the WooCommerce plugin.

What is the pixel id the WooCommerce plugin is configured with?

    Hi,

    That would be 144523286884255.

    Thanks!
