Delete Event Frontend

I have created a page where you can submit events to the calendar on a password protected page, but want to give the front end capability of deleting events without having to go in as the admin on the backend. I think the delete option would best be available on the display page after you click on the event. I have looked in the source documents a little bit, but am not sure where I would input this functionality to make sure it does the right thing.
