Delete event don’t work

    @angelo_nwl, please, it’s the 3th post I create for this question beacause I hav’nt any good answer to my question. Can you answer me please ?

    I would like users to be able to delete their event on frontend.
    – You told me I have to give them capabilities. I checked the boxes “delete event” ans “delete recurent event” under events > settings > general > user capabilities.
    – You told me to define the “edit events page” under events > settings > pages > Other pages > front-end management pages > edit events page. I do that but on the “frontend edit events page”, I can’t delete the events, only edit them.

    So can you tell me if a user can really delete their event or not. If it’s possible, please explain to me how to do it. In the edit page, there is no “delete button” or “delete link”.

    Do you understand my problem?

    note: only the admin or owner can delete event except enabling events > settings > general > user capabilities > delete_others_recurring_events or delete_others_events

    Which shortcode did you use to display the “delete” link on the result page ?

    Hello,

    No shortcodes added. You just need to make sure that you have set-up a page for Edit Events under Events > Settings > Pages > Other Pages > Edit events page

    It’s a shame not to have “delete” and “edit” link on the same page.

    The Edit Event is on the same page. The edit event is when you click the Event Name it self, The (+) plus icon is to duplicate, Delete Link to Delete.

    Here’s a sample link: https://take.ms/8euF6 If in case you can’t edit the event, Then chances you might have not set the permissions under events > settings > general > user capabilities. There’s a different permission on Editing own Events, All other Events, Deleteing Own Event, etc.
