Hello @albertramsbottom
Sorry to hear about that. We have only had one other user come to us with this problem before. The “Remove from database” button has always worked for all other users when duplicates existed. So it is likely that the issue here is that they were deleted from the database beforehand.
With that said, there are a couple ways to delete duplicates more quickly. I’m sorry but we can’t provide some sort of bulk or automatic removal of duplicate listings because WP-Lister can’t decide which duplicates to remove. Yes, we could improve the user interface somehow, add check boxes to tick and one button to remove all those that were ticked. But you could simply hold the <alt> key (on Mac, or right click on the “remove” button then select open in new tab for Windows) and click on each Remove button, which will open the link in a new tab, so you can click on all the buttons without having to reload the page, and compared to doing it that way, check boxes and a “remove all selected” button wouldn’t save a single click.
There is another way to handle this (and better if there are many duplicates for a couple listings). Simply visit the edit product page of the product which you’d like to remove, select “View in WP-Lister” from the admin toolbar and you’ll see all the duplicates on that page.
Now tick the topmost checkbox to select all items, and then use the “Move to archive” bulk action, then delete them from the archived section of WP-Lister using the bulk action drop down menu again. This has the same effect as archiving all duplicates from the list of duplicate SKUs, but it’s much quicker.
Kind regards,
John
